In the book Cris Cross by Lynne Rae Perkins, a group of kids go through changes in their lives as they had wished for in the beginning of their summers. The book is narrated by a different character every change of chapter, and it all started with the narration of one of the most important characters named Debbie. In the end you realize all the characters are connected through her necklace, and each time you see the necklace, the characters end up in some unexpected twisted new adventure. The IB trait the main character posesses is being a thinker. She is always put in different situations, and she does her best to get out of them. SHe uses her old knowledge, and the knew knowledge she gains from the situations in order to suceed at everythin (or almost) that she does.
